As a matter of fact, many of our guests are beginners and Salt Run is an easy waterway to navigate. Our staff will ensure that you are familiar with the operation of your watercraft before you head out.

You should wear a bathing suit, hat, water-shoes, and anything else you feel comfortable wearing in the sun. Don’t forget to wear sunblock! We provide all the equipment you will need, including the watercraft, life jacket and paddles. We recommend bringing a towel and a change of clothes if you are staying in the park.

When you rent a watercraft, we will ask for your driver’s license as a security deposit. Before you embark, we will let you know approximately what time to be back based on how long you want to spend on the water, but it is up to you to keep track of time.

Once you return, you will pay for the length of time you were on the water (payment is by the hour).

We accept all major credit cards.

Salt Run is a haven for both sea creatures and wildlife. At any point, you may experience a variety of crabs, fish, birds, and sea turtles. Our guests have even reported seeing an occasional dolphin or manatee.

No, you must stay in your watercraft at all times. You also may not beach your watercraft during your outing, because of the sharp ocean floor oysters that have the potential to cut you.

If you would like to swim, check out Anastasia’s four miles of picturesque beach just half a mile up the road.
